This is not the first time that Sword of Legends has announced new raids, but this is the first time they have done so in such a short period of time. The game has been around for about three years now and has been steadily growing since its inception.
In Swords of Legends Online, the most EXTREME of difficulties awaits, as the game’s next patch introduces some harsh new endgame obstacles in the form of extreme raids for players to master. Please accept my apologies; I meant EXTREME RAIDS!
Both the Waves in a Tempest and the Horror of Huaixiu raids will launch their extreme variants on Sunday, October 24th, requiring players to be level 85 and actively create groups due to the lack of automated matching for these encounters. Both raids provide Hero Tokens and cosmetics, with the Tempest raid also granting access to a special turtle mount. In addition, the update has introduced some new cosmetics to the Hero Token shop, which raiders may use to spend their tokens on.
The EXTREME content will continue next week with the addition of two additional extreme raids, both of which will debut on Sunday, October 31st. The patch for next week will also include a new event featuring a fresh new 3v3 minigame to play. Which seems less EXTREME but still entertaining. Of course, finding raiders who are EXTREME enough may be difficult, since the game’s Steam player counts have been dropping month after month. RETENTION OF PLAYERS IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.
